Objevtives

  • Understanding the current Diet of Diabetic Patients across India.
  • What are the items they snack on throughout the day.
  • What difficulties do they face when they are on the run and want to eat.
  • What does a company need to offer in order for them to try their new snack line.
  • Findings to be used to assist in the development of product line And initial development of Ideas for concepts to be tested.

Methodology

  • Food Diary: filling out an online diary which would contain a diet schedule to tell us what they ate through out the day and at the end of the day was there some things they wish they could eat nut not available.
  • Focus groups discussion with the same respondents in order to understand in depth their needs wants and opinions of diabetic specific food.

Criteria

  • Must be suffering from type 2 diabetes.
  • Shouldn’t be using insulin.
  • Must be following a strict diet.
